The concert itself was amazing beginning to end. Sound was great, band was really good and very down to earth, very friendly at the meet and greet, and the visual show was really good as well. The only downside at the venue was totally out of their control. The city had lost power earlier in the day for several hours. Parking was a breeze. Got the VIP tickets for my son and myself for his first concert experience. The ticket purchase and follow up was easy and amazing as I was continually emailed update reminders both for the concert and when to arrive for our VIP tour, both from Ticketmaster and the local venue. That made for a warm, humid building, but that was uncontrollable and by the end of the night, it was much more comfortable. If you’re in the front row, like we were, it’s a climb to the top of the arena up many stairs, then down many more to the main entrance. Really appreciated that level of service. On a hot, humid, rainy day in Iowa, the venue itself could really use some updates. The one (women’s) I used only had about 10-15 stalls. Th venue itself could really use some updates. The seats are stained, the 50 year old building that seats about 2500 people only had a couple bathrooms. Very strange design. I will definitely see Thousand Below in concert again! My son was amazed by the experience, so thanks to all for making that happen!
